Shocking as it may seem, there are dog owners out there who electrocute their pets with remote controlled collars as part of a training process. Dog barks (BZZZZZZ!) Dog humps leg of elderly relative (BZZZZZ!) Dog urinates on rug (BZZZZZZZZ!)
Of course there is only so much electricity a dog can stand. Here, before the barriers and signs were put up, a passing canine was electrocuted by stray underground voltage. And this isn’t an isolated case. Just try Googling ‘dog electrocuted on morning walk’ and see for yourself.
No animal deserves to go through such an ordeal. Let this floral tribute – with a written eulogy far longer than most you’d see left at the roadside in rememberance of a deceased homosapian – act as a reminder to council officials everywhere that electric mains supplies should be checked on a regular basis.
